Sindh shuttered 11,000 public schools, and a total of 12,000 private schools after receiving notification of the hiring of more than 1000 instructors.

According to the report, more than a thousand teacher appointments have been announced in 15 districts of Sindh. Eleven thousand public schools have also been shuttered throughout the province, while a total of twelve thousand private schools have been registered.

The education department has released a notice for the employment of teachers to open the shuttered schools as part of the Sindh government's objective to reopen the closed schools in the province.

In 15 districts, including Malir, Gadap, Kemari, Ghotki, Badin, Umarkot, Qamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, and other areas, a notice for the employment of more than 1000 teachers has reportedly been published.

According to the study, 6,000 schools were affected by the floods, and 5,000 schools have been shuttered for 23 years in Sindh.

According to the survey report, the province is home to 10,000 776 English-medium, 469 Urdu-medium, and 491 Sindhi-medium private schools, serving 39 lakh 41 thousand 938 pupils.

The survey states that although 21 lakh 37 thousand 605 kids (boys) attend private schools, 18 lakh 4 thousand 333 female students (girls) do as well.

According to the survey, there are 2,98,938 private schools in the province with 2,25,158 teachers and 73,780 non-teaching staff members serving 1,66,788 minority community pupils.
